Logotype, design and content management system (CMS) for CMR - (Sahlgrenska Center for Cardiovascular and Metabolic Research).
CMR is not your average Swedish research center, taking a more bold approach to marketing. Their equivalences in the country boasts with a very strict and dull graphic profile (if any).
Therefore Whyte was asked to develop a more cocky and modern look to their activity, to measure up internationally aswell as giving them a more proffessional expression that the others.
A modern design with customized CMS for easy updating. Implemented with Tiny
MCE for rich text editing possibilities. Since the admin-part of the site
has many users custom user levels was built in the system.
The CMR logo,
was made out of three stylized bloodcells, creating an organic form. These
are in contrast to the relatively hard typeface, wich also works fine in
smaller sizes.
